My names are themed, my boy rats all start with B (Bosley, Bali, Banjo, Boka and Bakari) and my female mice start with K (Kala and Kora). My two female rats dont fit with a them because they are ones that I adopted and they were already named (Poppy and Cinnamon)

I used to theme my names but I end up getting tongue tied... I'd be like "Emily... no Emmerson... I mean..." or "Skittle... I mean Scooter... I mean Skampers..."
I always knew who was who, I just would always say the wrong name1

I named my first rat before I even met him, lol. I thought Ace would suit every kind of rat (male of course) When I got my second rat though I was a bit stumped, he's a Black Verieberk ( I think that's what it's called..) so the name came whooshing into my head like an epiphany!! I named him Sweeney after Tim Burton's 'Sweeney Todd' He totally looked the part! Anyway, sorry to ramble on, but I suggest that if you wait a while the name will just come to you.

I'm now going to have to work out a name for my little Manx girl.. At the moment her name is Bunny Manx ... until I know what her personality is going to be and can work out what name suits her.. David said I should call her Shorty .. But for now I'm just going to call her Bunny and if it ends up suiting her then that will be good but if it doesnt then I know the perfect name will come.. My boy Squid started out with the name Star Drinker but I picked him up one day and said "How you doing Squid"and that has been his name ever since.. lol

my friend has a manx mouse, her partner thought it'd be funny to call it the obvious... "Tails". It suits her now we're used it it lol. Another name that comes to mind is Stumpy. But being such a special girl she's worthy of a super cute name.

Lol, I suck at naming rats too! I've had rats for weeks before I've settled on a name for them. I feel like there isn't any names I could suggest that would be 'ratty'.. rats are all so different, it's hard to generalise! I usually name mine based in their quirky little personalities.. :>.
