my 2 boys are colin and frank, as in lano and woodly, i also have one named hamish and a girl named paprica like the spice lol cool tongue OMG you are on the top of my favourite person list today lol, I love those two, Lano & Woodley :( sad that I never got to see a live show though :( |

These have been our rats names:
Psi-koh Verminus Ratticus (Psi for short, she was my first rat, and my heart rat. I doubt I'll ever get another one like her).
Domino (later called Boof because had this lovable boofy face to die for)
Scamp (Pink eyed cream)
Trixie (Black/Chocolate mix with white paws)
Theo (another Pink eyed cream, he was a big fat teddy bear)
Tyr (a rescue boy)
Kuki (a rescue girl)
Bubbah (he was the only boy in a litter to survive the rat flu)
Serenity
Lucky (he ended up having 6 girls all to himself when I got him)
Toy Boy (the name says it all... he was Lucky's toy boy)
Keelie (a rescue girl)
Izzie
Spick & Speck (the twins, black/chocolate mix berks with white paws)
Thowra (from Eileen Mitchell's The Silver Brumby Series)
Gingi (after the gingerbread man from Shrek)
Hughie (after a lovable teddy-bear-like Highland Bull I know)
Snooty (she was stuck up, picky about her food and really didn't like me)
our other pets:
Licky Libby (our very licky rottweiler)
Thor (our over-excitable rottweiler puppy who's hobby is to eat plastic... he is so named because you can hear him thundering by from a mile away)

Teddy, cos hes a big fat teddy bear.
Possum, cos she took a leap and had all 4 legs spread out like a glider possum not long after i got her.
Cheeky, cos she is.
Eden, short for Edenbrock Racing. My fiances rat. all his pets names have something to do with cars( Except his dog. jack x foxie, Princess) he has 2 cats Piston and Hemi and a cockatiel called rev.
my rb babies are
Sweet-pea. The sweetest rat ever. my first rat. she only just recently passed. 10-08-08. i got her in august in 2005. black hooded
Lovely. cos she was just so lovely. my son named her.black
Jerry, named after tom and jerry. he was a 4yo pet and he got to big so her mum gave him away.He turned out to be quite nasty. but i kept him all the same.loved him. even tho he didnt love me.mink.
Brutus. He was one big Brute. yet loving and affectionate.black
Roxy(Rocky) like in the rocky movies cos she was a lil fighter.pew.
muffin, she was an agouti. she looked like a muffin with sprinkles.
some of my other pets names are
Bundy mastiff x ridgeback x doberman x greyhound. cos he is the same colours as a bundy can. he also gets called Micro cos he is the complete oppersite.
Kink the cat. she is disabled and he front legs and tail are kinked.
Barney the turtle. I did have fred and barney.
Oscar the oscar fish. he is a grump like oscar the grouch.
just to name a few.
I also have cockatiels and budgies and fish and an indian ringneck.as well as 4 chooks

My three girls are called Isobel, Tipsy (she has a white tip on her tail) and Whiskers.
I like Olive....I had a dog called Olivia.

I sometimes take a few days to name my rats. I like to see how they behave a what will fit them before I name them: it's part of the bonding I think. My first boy was smart and mischievious: I called him Hamish. I like to stick with actual names rather than foodstuffs and other random things, but that is just me. We (my husband and I) currently have 3 rats and I've named 2: Wesley (gorgeous agouti hooded) and Vivien (black and white hooded, named after the punk med student in The Young Ones)....My husband named his rat Special Patrol Group (after Vivien's pet hamster from the TV series the Young Ones). I disapprove, but it has stuck unfortunately. We call him SPG for short. I've also had rescue rats in the past that were already named. Although I wouldn't have chose them, they were their names and so they stayed with them. It's up to you in the end:)  |

I know what u mean. My partner insisted on calling our first agouti boy RVD after the wrestler, Rob Van Dam, only the rat is Rat Van Dam lol. but it suits him so he kept it

WE got 3 baby boys this week.
A black hooded with Downunder spots.His name is Chester(Chesty he seems to get called more)
An Agouti. His name is Brocky.
And a Champagne hooded. His name is Chevy.
They are so quiet compared to the girls.
Except for Teddy, I have never had boys before.
Teddy is just as rough and tumble as the girls. He doesnt know any better.

Give them time, if they're really young, the fun is yet to begin. My boys are about 9 months now and they're still playful and not all that interested in cuddles.

I'm going to get two buck ratties soon, and I'm going to call them Knife (May sound weird, but it's pronounced "Ken-iff-ee" cos it's cute ^.^) and Sebastian (I like that name a lot).

I just bought two ratties today :-D My first ever, ive been thinking about doing it for months.
Both are boys, both are white with a champagne/lavender colours
One is mine, one for the other half hehe
I called my little bloke 'Felix'
Tim called his 'Gatto'
God , they are so cool!

My first two ratties were named Java (R.I.P) and Mocha. I work night shift so coffee is a big part of my life.
My two new little girls who I got today are Amy G and Dala. The amygdala is a part of the brain active in the feeling of disgust and considering some people feel that way about rats I thought it was appropriate. Of course I find them adorable.
