I figured I had to join in Current Girls; Jemima (black) and Sniff in the table-cage. (Aka and old bird-cage that gets used as a safe house when I'm working on the table. They're actual cage is an open cabinet/shelf style)And the Old Bloke, who thought he was a human. Otherwise known as Bubo who unfortunately had to leave for the rainbow bridge a little while ago. The vet, and others confirmed that he was male, but the poor dear never developed his 'manly assets'. Might have been why he didn't play well with other rats (Good Place to chill out in summer) I'm on dial-up here at the moment, with no problems, so I hope these aren't too large.

He was a long rat. Made a great neck-warmer in winter!

Hello The ratlets are so active and so cute We are trying to decide the colours for the light ones...hooded could be dove or buff?? and light could be champagne or white (although not as white like on the hooded boys???) some of them love the camera...one just wiggled too much!!!! s896.photobucket.com/albums/ac162/alphabetrattery/Litter%20M%202009/Litter%20M%2020days%20old/ still cant seem to put up pics any other way *Edited - Rune click Modify as if you want to modify this post and look at how the photo below is posted.. I got this link from the album you posted about.. so you will be able to get the link youself to post.* The pic doesnt show up unless someone clicks it.. At the moment its the only way the photobucket photos seem to work. has another go with one of them

Ohh Rune, i live in melbourne... newcastle is a bit too far away for me. sorry hun but best of luck finding the bubs new homes... they are supper cute The light ones all look champagne to me, but its hard to tell at that age as they can darken as they mature and the camera might not show their true colour.

oh that is a shame....... We were thinking they could be champagne but we weren't too sure. It was so cute when the ratlets opened their eyes. But we are not sure how to tell ruby eyes from pink. Abu has such dark ruby eyes they are almost black..but other rats we have seen seem to have a dark pink or a light ruby...does this change as they get older too? The ratlets are so active and busy right now...they make us laugh lots. We will miss them when they go to their new homes. The boys are now with their dad Abu, much to Zuri's relief (I think 9 ratlets were a bit too active for her LOL)
