Our two supposedly female rats turned out to be male and female and had babies 20 days ago. There were 4 but sadly 3 died before a week and one disappeared suspected to have been eaten 
. There is one seemingly healthy baby. Male has just been separated. I’m concerned because mum doesn’t seem interested in sleeping with her baby to let it suckle. Baby follows mum around but she barely stays still long enough for baby to have a decent feed. Baby is nibbling on rat blocks and drinking water. Also concerned that this little one doesn’t have a litter to socialise with. And I suspect mum is pregnant again. What should I do?
