Hi, I have a Male Rat I adopted 6 months ago who is about 18 months old. He has an ear infection, I have been given drops by the Vet and a few syringes to use and have too put in about two drops twice a day....I have tried once by giving him a treat to lick and trying to put drops in with syringe....but he just closed down his little ear somehow and tried to move away and keep eating his treat 
I am not sure I actually succeeded in getting any liquid in at all.... Any suggestions or experience? He is very tame and cuddly, but also a bit of a timid rat in general.
