Scabs on my furry friend

Both of my little mates had tiny red scabs a little while back, which turned out to be protein scabs, I adjusted there diet and all seemed good, now one of them seems to have developed another condition, or the condition has returned and worsened.
At first I thought it was just his ears, but he has them all over.

I have a photo but it doesn't look like I can post it here.
