This forum was created for those people who really love their pet and show rats and wish to talk about and share that love and interest with other people who feel the same way.
So in order to keep these forums enjoyable and interesting for all of our users, we ask simply that you follow these minimal rules.

1. *We would appreciate it if people would refrain from posting anything negative on this forum as we try to make this forum a friendly place and therefore feel that negative comments and innuendos have no place on any forum.*
2. We do not state anywhere within this forum that certain names given to rat coats, markings, size or anything else used by members or visitors within this forum are standardized by any rat club, society or association. But it is the right of every individual here to be allowed to use whatever name they wish to use to describe their rats whether standardized within Australia or not.
3. Exercise common sense and be considerate toward your fellow users. Diversity of opinion and intelligent civil discourse is encouraged; by the same token, insults even vailed insults and “flaming” are not tolerated. Disagreeing with an idea of another member is different from attacking that individual or their beliefs. Being asked nicely to change the way you post by a staff member does not mean that you can then be sarcastic.
4. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word non-sense posts, or such and please try to use english rather than net speak or sms text speach.
5. No all-caps (FOR EXAMPLE, LIKE THIS) or all-bolds please. It is extremely hard to read, and all caps is considered shouting and therefore rude. Posts submitted in all-caps or all-bolds will be deleted automatically.
6. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts, whether names are mentioned or not. Our decision is final in these matters. Rude, Sarcastic, Agressive, Upsetting or Childish behaviour towards Staff Members or any other member will cause you to be banned without warning.
