Yeah, I'm new here. I haven't had rats to call my own, but I've had rats that I could share my love with.
We used to live in a weatherboard house in Brunswick. The place was uninsulated, so it often got cold, and as we were having sleeping difficulties at the time, we couldn't keep the rats with us in the bedroom.
My solution to keep them warm? I had a PC that was used as our TV (A Home Theatre PC) so to keep the rats warm, we used to put their cage on top of the computer, turn the fans down, and set a program running that took up all the CPU time.
Problems solved! I helped cure cancer, and I kept my rats from getting really cold during winter.
