Hi, I'm new here and I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ben, I've had experience with keeping rats a few years ago, but haven't kept any for 5 years. I live alone, and recently I've become very lonely and in need of 2 or 3 companions. I know rats prefer to be in groups of at least 2 or 3, so I've decided to keep it at 3 to make it easier for them and myself. It's been a long time since I've kept any. My first fancy rat was a blue, her name was Skye, but she passed on far too soon. It took me 2 years to find a blue rat that I thought was healthy. I never kept any since then, as it was very hard to deal with the loss. I've been spending the last week working out which cage to get and how to set it up. Now that I've planned everything, I'll be looking at some rats very shortly. My preference is girls in self/berkshire/irish marked standard/silk coats, and colour preferences are buff, champagne, silverfawn, PEW, and of course, my favourite of all, blue I'm now on the lookout for my new companions Ben

I am currently waiting on 2 female rats. They are only 2 weeks old but I can't wait until I receive them. They will be either rex or double rex with champagne or buff coats. Just have to wait for them to grow a little to know Perhaps contact some breeders about upcoming litters. A good breeder should be able to tell you what sort of markings etc they expect from their litter. Good luck
