Problem Activating Account

Hi,

When i go to activate my account from the email ive been sent, it wont allow me to log in (says theres an error) and put the activation code in.

Is this normal or am i doing it wrong LOL

Hi,

i cant get to the page to enter in an activation key. when i signed up i went through the process until the page comes up to check your emai to get the activation key.

I clicked on the link in the email and it brings me to the log in page. I try to log in to enter my activation key but i cant log in as it says "error: log in to activate account" and i dont know where else to enter the activation key as ive only got the log in option on the screen.

Sorry if im being a pain, id really like to join the message boards

Hi Alysha,

This is Kim, I just created this account to see if I had any problems joining up, activating and logging in to the forum..

As you can see I havent had any issues at all .. so its possible that you are doing something wrong.

I will posts up photos in this section to show how to join up step by step...

LOL .. I just logged out and logged back in to my admin account and noticed that you are showing up as a member on the forum..

So I am guessing that you managed to sort out the problem

Hmm. It still calls me a "visitor" and i cant post as LuvMyRats. (or is that normal?)

I also see that i am online. I clicked on my name (luvmyrats) and i looked at the profile. in it, it says my a/c is not activated.

No its not normal .. as you saw it was very easy for me to join up and activate my account and log in.

I do know that sometimes the type of thing you use like Internet Explorer, Firefox and what ever else can have issue with the forum..

I use Interenet Explorer and have never had an issue, some people who use a different program have had issues.

Also sometimes the type of email account you have doesnt work with the forum for some reason, but I know the one you are using should work and not cause problems as other members use that same one and have logged on..

Give me a little bit to post up the photos to photobucket and to make a post and then we can see if you are doing something wrong or if its something else..

Ok thanks. I tried to join again just to see if it was my stuff up or something. i took photos of my steps that i can post after work. im using Internet Explorer.

No rush, ill be a member eventually
