Hi,
I'm sure there is more information about this in the full member area but I'm not there yet and I'm really curious,
What type of coat is "carasilk"?
Thanks.
(I'm so excited about becoming a rat owner)

Hi,
i found your post while i was browsing, carasilk is a strange coat type. Basically the rat looks greesy in appearance, sort of like you've rubbed greesy KFC chicken all over it. But the coat isnt actually wet nor greesy when you touch it.

They are very satisfying. My next rat will probably be one of them, I am trying to go through one of every type, make it like a race with someone to get close to that.

i think (but im not sure) that carasilks have slightly longer fur than a rat with standard fur.
