That is the bit that gets me....when the critter they are using as food is alive. I think that is just mean. It does sound cruel to us, but you have to remember that it is happening all the time in the wild. what i really don't agree with is people feeding snakes live rats, the rats have no chance because they are stuck in a cages. at least in the wild they have a chance to get away and hide. |

Yeah thats how i see it to. Its cruel and unnecessary to feed live to animals in captivity (unless they are planning on being re released) because they have no chance of getting away. In the wild its totally different, its nature and damn those snakes have to work for there food.
It really shits me when people say there snake should eat live food because its the way it is in the wild. Yeah and they live in a glass cage in the wild to.

The sick part is when they find it funny or do it for entertainment or to show off to their mates. Little do they bother to think is that its not only cruel to the animal that's being live fed but also dangerous to their own animal.
