YAY!! I picked up my ratpups today!!!! I got them from Carawatha Rodents in Brisbane and it was soooo hard to pick 2 because they were all so adorable!!! In the end i decided on two boys, one is a Silk Black Berkshire who is very cheeky, outgoing and very adventurous! The other is a Agouti Berkshire who's a bit more shy and cuddly, and at first was a bit timid but it didn't take long before he was starting to come out of his shell a bit As for names I think ive decided on Ruben for the black one. I had that name in mind if I was to get boys and i think it suits him. Not sure yet on a name for the agouti.... Im SOOOO happy i've got them! Will have some pics up soon!! Bianca

Wow, I'm jealous =P
I'd be totally Dorky and pick a name that sounded like it went with Ruben, like Rusty XD
I'm sure what you choose will be great though. Can't wait for piccies!

OH MY GOSH!!! OUR RAT BABIES ARE BROTHERS!!! Ours are from Carawatha, too! Your black birkshire is a full brother to my kids' rats, and half brother to mine Aren't they just BEAUTIFUL!? Must say, the Agouti was really cute, he VERY nearly came home with us, but Stephie liked the black better. We'd chosen our lavender and the hooded, but the third one was a choice between the black and the agouti, she ended up getting the black because she just adored his little white feet and he was so friendly to her... asy

Lucky *jealous*. I'm banned from getting any more rats, but I agree with the ban as four is enough for me. But they are so cute!

wow thats awesome i got two babies the other day too...they are so cheeky and adorable I just love em! You should think of a name that sorta matches Reuben for the other rat...then it would sound really cool when you said their names lol I nearly called my rats Ernie and Bert (off the sesame street!) but came to my senses just in time

When members have made their 10 posts and can access the rest of the forum, there is a pics section, where you can see other peoples rats and can post yours as well I had been on Kim's waiting list for ages for a black. Finally got her a couple of weeks ago, and ended up with 3 blacks, one self, one berkshire and one hooded, lol Then last week I added another bub, This one is from Brats Tails and is an Argente hooded. So went from 5 rats to 9 in a matter weeks

Thats a very good question... are you looking to find out in general or would you be looking to find out how old ur new babies are? lol If you want to know the age of ur babies just post a few pictures to help us out! This also might be fun to try, a rat age calculator! www.taletn.com/rats/age/ Welcome to the forum by the way I hope you enjoy your new ratties! It's a fun learning curve and i'm sure you'll enjoy it. We all do
