Sometimes the joining and Activating your account can be a little confusing so here are some pictures to explain what you need to do.

After clicking Register you will be taken to a screen like this..  You choose your UserName, Password and give other info which you can choose to show or hide. You must put the Security code in that you see at the bottom so that the site knows you are a real human. |

Now dont do anything until you get an email like this one...  It will give you your username and password ( I've obviously hidden the password from my email and replaced with other words).. so you need to keep the email you get in case you forget your username and password later on. You will see that I have used a red line to underline something in the email I recieved.. That is your activation key ... you need that to log in and activate your account. You can use the link provided but sometimes that does not always work properly so its better to do it the long way. Write down or copy your activation code from the email you get. |

Now go back to the Forum and click log in .. you will get a screen like this..  You will need to put in your username and password.. It automatically says Stay Logged in for .. 6 hours .. I suggest changing that to Stay Logged in .. Forever .. you can still log out and log back in .. but I find you get less problems when you choose to stay logged in forever any time you log on. |

Once you click log in on the screen above you should be taken to this next screen...  This is where you put in Your activation key ... which you got in your email. |

 Once you have put in your activation key and clicked the Activate Account button, you should be taken to the forum. Your account will be activated and you will be a member of the forum and be able to post as a member. You then need to make 10 or more posts to be given full access. |

Ok. i can do everything and everything is correct that i do/receive up until the log in screen.
Ive done everything correct and when i go to log in thats where it comes up to the error message. It contridicts itself saying i need to enter my activation key, however i have to log in to do that (as you have done, where you change the length of time you want to stay logged in for)
I havent seen past the log in page so that photo of where you have activation key:..................... and then click on the activate account i have never seen, nor does it come up. it just throws me as a visitor back to the home page.

hmmm .. ok well email me your password .. for the luvmyrats account Info@bozzyrats.comI'll change your email address to mine and see if I can activate your account for you that way. So you might get an email asking if you want to change your email address, in which case you will need to say yes you did want to.  |

Ok its not letting me change your email address for some reason. So email me your Password and Activation Key and I will see if I can active it that way... If we cant them we might need to delete both accounts and start again.. |

Not a problem.. I got your email, and was able to activate it from the info you gave me. So you should be able to log in now and post as a member. |
