I clean my girls cage out weekly (eg the litter tray and i wash the hammocks) and I hose my cage out about every two weeks. We just use yesterday newspaper down the bottom and shred some so they can take it up to the top level for nesting. I do the same for the boys cage. They are only young too, and it takes a good week for them to start smelling. Hope it stays that way! We made our cage(s) it cost about $30 altogether (both cages) and its about 1m50 high. I also have a dominate female that likes to mark everything (groan) so i usually just leave one or two things around that she likes.

I clean out my girls cage once a week - this is a full clean, which includes changing the liners and hammocks out, and washing out the cage pan thoroughly. The cage I have right now isn't desirable, but within the next month I will have a FK for them, which I think will be much easier to clean I change the litter every few days when it needs to be done (they have a litter tray and thankfully use it haha)

I clean out my cages every second day, but I find the my boys are very messy (more than my girls) and will mess up the cage straight away. I don't feel bad about removing nests ect because a) it stinks and b) they seem to enjoy making them and it gives them something to do. I love to see them jumping around their cage and playing after it's been cleaned out, I find it's also a great time to add food and fresh water, although they don't always eat straight away lol
